Profile of Sarah Gager
Sarah Gager received her undergraduate degree from Anna Maria College in 2000. Ms. Gager went on to receive her law degree from Western New England University School of Law, receiving her Juris Doctor in 2003. Ms. Gager was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2003 and the Connecticut Bar in 2007.
Ms. Gager joined Murphy and Beane in May of 2008. Ms. Gager litigates before the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission, Connecticut and Massachusetts Superior Courts, Mohegan Tribal Gaming Court, and United States Department of Labor in the areas of insurance defense, workers’ compensation, and Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act. Ms. Gager prepares cases for litigation, including conducting depositions, discovery, reviewing of claims for subrogation, negotiating of settlements, preparation and litigation of third party intervention in Superior Court and appeals.
Ms. Gager is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Workers Compensation Committee and is also very active with New London Main Street, a local non-profit, and is serving as Board President for the 2014-2015 term.
